Latest about the Police Direct Messaging Service

21st December 2011 - Home Watch crime summary service.

The Constabulary has reviewed and amended the process to send out messages to Home Watch subscribers.

This will ensure the continuation of the service despite reductions in corporate communications' resources.

The new process will be tested during the week beginning 16 January and, all being well, will be rolled out two weeks later.

Weekly crime summary messages will now be based on the geographical areas covered by our Safer Neighbourhood Teams. This will mean you will only receive messages that are relevant to your local neighbourhood or those neighbourhoods you are signed up to.
