30th January 2012 - Final email News letter has today been circulated today to all Milwood Royal Residents Association members.

John Barrett finally retires tomorrow after 12 years as Chairman of the Milwood Royal Residents' Association

Copy of email circulated to all members on 30th January 2012 - Members can view this letter containing the latest news retiring Chairman John Barrett.

From 1st February 2012 the existing email address for the Residence Association will be withdrawn until a new committee is formed. To contact the remaining committee please use the following link in all cases CONTACT US or the link at the top of each page.

The post of Chairman is the key to the future of the Milwood Royal Residents Association, and until someone comes forward to take on the role it's regrettable that the Residents Association will not have a future. Obviously having a Chairman and a Secretary who could deal with the correspondence would be the best option.

Back Norfolk County Council's "Say Yes" campaign and register your support for better broadband in Norfolk.

The County Council secured £15m of Government funding last year to make better broadband services available in the county, which we have pledged to match, and we are now looking for a private sector partner to install the infrastructure and to invest in the project.

To get the best possible partner for the project, we need to show how much demand there is for better broadband services in Norfolk

There will be no obligation to subscribe to the services when launched, but in registering your interest you will be helping Norfolk get better broadband.

Why Say Yes!

The issue - It's simple really.

Register your interest now and help us get better broadband in our county - let's consign poor broadband in Norfolk to the bin. CLICK on the "Say Yes" logo above

Why are the refuse bins left on the pavement by the collection teams.

First of all you should be aware that if you as the resident position your waste bin on the pavement "It's illegal!"

The operatives who empty your bins are instructed to return them to the place from where they were left. Technically this is wrong. It's therefore important that you position your bins just inside your gate and NOT on the pavement. If anyone has an accident as a result of your bin being left on the pavement you could be liable.

If your bin is left on the pavement and that was NOT the place you left it your should complain: by ringing 01553 782060, letters of complaint should be sent direct to :- Refuse Collection Manager, Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk, King's Court, Chapel Street, KING'S LYNN PE30 1EX - Telephone (01553) 616200.

Rules for Blue Badge Holders - 29th November 2011.

I have been asked to clarify the rules concerning parking for Blue Badge holders. Please note the following:- a Blue Badge holder can park on a yellow line for up to three hours providing they do not cause an obstruction. They are required to display their clock and set it to the time of their arrival so that the 3hrs can be calculated. As this restriction is only in force between 8am and 9:30am the clock would need to show a time after 06:30 in order to be valid within the time frame of the restrictions.

I hope this answers the question
